Experience the magnificent northern nature by hunting capercaillie, black grouse and willow grouse in Dorotea, Southern Swedish Lapland. You can either hunt with your own dogs or take advantage of our expert guides and trained dogs. Come and relax with your friends, offer a unique experience to your clients or have an adventure holiday with your family. We have some 33,000 hectares of carefully managed hunting grounds and sustainable stock of game, thanks to which we can book your group your own hunting area.
The season runs from 25 August to 15 November.
Capercaillie and black grouse hunting on skis
White snow, silent nature, the quiet hiss of skis – suddenly a magnificent black capercaillie or grouse on the top of a tree against bright blue sky. Experience first-hand the traditional and demanding Nordic method of hunting in the winter, which is also the perfect time for trophy hunting: the birds are at their best and are ideal for taxidermy. We highly recommend taking advantage of the service our expert guides provide. The season ends on 31 January.
Hunting rock ptarmigans on skis
All-inclusive hunting packages in Dorotea and Vilhelmina in Swedish Lapland. Full-board accommodation at the foot of the mountains, transfer by snowmobile to the tree line, and skiing for rock ptarmigans. The package includes a guide for a safe hunting experience. The best time to ski for rock ptarmigans is from February to 15 March.
Beaver hunt
Experience bright spring nights and the soothing sound of water combined with the exciting hunt for beavers. The package includes accommodation, hunting permits and tips from our experienced guides.
The season runs from 1 April to 15 May.
